Demolition of Friendship Park began Tuesday Jan 6th

In spite of pressure from local and state elected leaders urging the Department of Homeland Security to open the decision-making process to public comment and review, DHS continues with the demolition of Friendship Park. This historic site, a gathering place for families on both sides of the border for generations, will now be closed to the public, blocked by a massive border wall and high speed vehicle corridor.
